These taps are specifically made to give the best possible flow rates, even on gravity systems (we recommend a minimum 1 bar pressure for best operation). You normally only find this attention to detail on far more expensive taps. For your convenience, we have listed some estimated flow rates below:

Flow rates:

• 5.5li/min at 0.2 bar
• 7.5li/min at 0.5 bar
• 11.8li/min at 1 bar
• 16.5li/min at 2 bar
• 20.5li/min at 3 bar

To put this in perspective, an 18 litre flow per minute is considered reasonable for bath taps, where it will take about 5 – 10 minutes to fill a standard sized bath to its usable level. Flow restricters can be fitted to your plumbing if you’re concerned about water usage and its effects on the environment.
